  • 1/2 c. Crisco
  • 1 c. sugar
  • 4 eggs
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • 1 (16 oz.) can chocolate flavored syrup
  • 1 1/4 c. sifted flour
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1 c. chopped walnuts
  • Quick Frosting

Directions

    Preheat oven to 350°.

    In mixing bowl, blend Crisco and sugar; beat in eggs and vanilla.

    Blend in chocolate syrup, flour and salt; stir in nuts.

    Pour into greased 13 x 9 x 2-inch baking pan. Bake at 350° for 30 to 35 minutes.

    Cool slightly, about 5 minutes.

    Top with Quick Frosting.
