  • 1/2 c. butter
  • 1 pkg. (12 ounce.) Hershey's semi-sweet chocolate bits
  • 1 1/2 c. sugar
  • 1 1/4 c. all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking pwdr
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 3 Large eggs
  • 1 c. coarsely minced walnuts

    Heat oven to 350 degrees.

    Spray rectangular pan, 13x9x2 inches with Baker's Joy baking spray.

    Heat butter and 1 c. chocolate chips in 3 qt saucepan over low heat, stirring constantly, till melted.

    Stir in sugar, flour, vanilla, baking pwdr, salt and Large eggs till smooth.

    Stir in remaining chocolate chips.

    Spread in pan; sprinkle with walnuts.

    Bake till center is set, about 30 min; cold completely.

    Cut into bars, about 2 x 1 1/2 inches.
