Double Chocolate Fudge

Ingredients

  • 2 sticks margarine
  • 1 can evaporated milk
  • 1 Tbsp. vanilla
  • 5 c. sugar
  • 2/3 c. powdered cocoa
  • 1 (24 oz.) pkg. chocolate morsels
  • 4 c. chopped pecans
  • 1 (7 oz.) marshmallow cream

Directions

    Mix sugar and cocoa together in bowl; set aside.

    Melt margarine in large heavy pot; add milk and vanilla. Stir well, then add sugar mixture. With large metal spoon, stir to bottom of pot and blend all ingredients. Bring to a boil and cook 6 minutes. Continue to stir often to keep from scorching. After 6 minutes, turn off heat; do not remove from unit.

    Add morsels, stirring until they are melted; add marshmallow cream and stir until it is melted and well blended with the chocolate. Add nuts; mix well and pour into pans. Let cool and slice.
