- 5 Cups flour
- 1 Cup sugar
- 4 tsp. baking powder
- 2 tsp. baking soda
- 1/2 lb. oleo
- 2 Tbsp. shortening
- pinch of salt
- 4 egg yolks
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 1/2 pint sour cream
Directions

1Mix all ingredients well.

2The dough will be very rich.

3Roll out dough to fit bottom of a cookie sheet with sides.

4Roll dough about two times as thick as pie dough.

5Sprinkle on nut mixture to cover first layer of dough.

6Roll out another piece of dough and cover nut mixture.

7Spread filling of your choice on second layer of dough.

8Cover with lattice topping.

9Sprinkle some of the nut mixture on top,

10Bake at 350 for 25-30 minutes or until nicely browned to a golden color.

11Cool and cut into squares.
