- 1 lb. butter
- 8 oz. cream cheese
- 1 1/2 c. sugar
- 2 tsp. vanilla
- 4 eggs
- 2 1/4 c. sifted cake flour
- 2 tsp. baking powder
- 1/4 tsp. salt
- 1 1/2 c. seedless raisins, chopped
- 6 Tbsp. chopped pecans
Directions

1Cream together butter and cream cheese until smooth. Add sugar; beat well. Beat in eggs, one at a time; add vanilla. Combine flour, salt, and baking powder; add to cream cheese mixture. Blend in raisins. Heavily grease a tube pan; sprinkle 6 Tbsp. of chopped pecans in pan. Pour batter in pan and bake at 300° approximately 1 1/2 hours. Let stand in pan 10 minutes before removing.
