- 12 cup powdered sugar
- 1 cup butter, softened
- 2 teaspoons vanilla
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 cup almonds or 1 cup pecans, finely chopped
- 14 teaspoon salt
- 34 cup powdered sugar
Directions

1Preheat oven to 325 degrees.

2Combine 1/2 C powdered sugar, butter, and vanilla until fluffy.

3Add flour, almonds, and salt; mix until dough forms.

4Shape into 1 inch balls.

5Place 1 inch apart on ungreased cookie sheets.

6Bake for 13-17 minutes or until set but not brown.

7Immediately remove from cookie sheets; place on wire rack.

8Cool 10 minutes.

9Roll cookies in 3/4 C powdered sugar.

10Cool 15 minutes more, re-roll in powdered sugar.
