Ingredients

  • 2 onions, sliced
  • 4 to 5 lb. pork roast
  • 5 to 6 whole cloves
  • 2 c. water
  • 1 (16 oz.) bottle barbecue sauce
  • 1 large onion, chopped

Directions

    Put half of onion in bottom of crock-pot, then add meat and other ingredients with remaining onion on top.

    Cover and cook on low 8 to 12 hours.

    Remove bone and fat from meat.

    Put meat back in crock-pot.

    Add onion and barbecue sauce.
  6. 6
    Cover and cook an additional 1 1/2 to 2 1/2 hours on high, stirring 2 or 3 times. Serve from crock-pot on large buns.
