- 3 Tbsp. brown sugar
- 1 c. sifted flour
- 2 eggs
- pinch of salt
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 3 Tbsp. flour
- 1/2 c. nuts
- 1 c. coconut
- 1 1/2 c. brown sugar, packed
- pinch of baking powder
Directions

1Mix butter, brown sugar and flour; press in 8 x 8-inch pan and bake 10 minutes in a 350° oven.

2While this is baking, beat eggs, salt and flour.

3Add vanilla, nuts, coconut, brown sugar and baking powder; mix well.

4Spread over first mixture and bake 15 minutes longer.

5Cut in squares when cooled.
