Directions

   Combine cake mix with 6 tablespoons oleo and 1 cup oatmeal. Mix until crumbly. Reserve 1 cup crumbs for topping.

   Add 1 egg to remaining crumbs.

   Mix well.

   Press into pan.

   Pour pie filling over crust. To reserved crumbs, add 1/4 cup oatmeal, 2 tablespoons oleo, nuts and brown sugar.

   Mix.

   Sprinkle over pie filling.

   Bake at 325° in a 9 x 13-inch glass pan for 30 to 40 minutes. Serves 8.

   Serve as bars or with whipped cream.
