- 15 ounces black beans, not drained (1 can)
- 1/2 teaspoon ground cumin, chili powder or 1/2 teaspoon a few shakes red pepper flakes
Directions

1Heat the oil in a frying pan while you peel and slice the onion. Cook the onion very slowly until brown and caramelized.

3Simmer until the liquid is mostly evaporated.
