Ingredients

  • 2 c. flour
  • 1 Tbsp. baking powder
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1/3 c. fat (shortening)
  • 3/4 c. fluid milk

Directions

    Mix flour, baking powder and salt.

    Mix in fat with fork or two knives until crumbly.

    Add milk.

    Mix enough to wet dry ingredients.

    Drop dough from a tablespoon on greased baking pan. Bake at 450° (very hot oven) 10 to 12 minutes until lightly browned.

    Makes 12 biscuits.
