- 1 pkg. dry yeast
- 1 egg, beaten
- 2 c. warm milk
- 1/2 c. Crisco
- 1/4 c. sugar
- 4 c. self-rising flour
- 1 c. grated cheese (optional)
- 3 Tbsp. chives (optional)
Directions

1Dissolve yeast in warm milk.

2Stir in egg, sugar and Crisco. Add flour and mix well.

3Optional; may add cheese and/or chives. Let set in covered airtight bowl in refrigerator for 1 hour. Spoon in greased muffin pan.

4Cook at 425° for 20 minutes or until done.

5Leftover dough will keep in refrigerator for several days.
