  • 2 C. flour
  • 1 T. baking powder
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1/4 tsp. sugar
  • 5 T. cold butter
  • 1 C. milk
  • 1/4 C. grated cheddar cheese
  • or 2 T. flour pinch salt, 3 T. cinnamon sugar
  • 1 Chopped apple and small handful raisins
  • or 1/4 lb. breakfast ground sausage, 1 green onion, chopped, 1 tsp. red pepper flakes, 1 T. flour,
  • 1/4 C. shredded mozzarella

Directions

    Preheat oven to 400degrees. Sift together the flour, baking powder, salt and sugar in a lg. mixing bowl. Using a fork or pastry blender, cut the butter into the mixture. Slowly stir in the milk and mix gently until the dough comes together. Drop the dough onto a baking sheet by spoonfuls to make 12 biscuits. Leave enough space between them to expand. Bake 12 - 15 min. until golden brown.
