- 1 1/4 cup sugar
- 2 eggs
- 2/3 cup milk
- 3 tsp baking powder
- 3/4 tsp salt
- 1 tsp vanilla or almond extract
- 3 cups flour
Directions

1Cream Crisco, sugar and eggs.

2Mix in milk, powder, salt, and flavoring.

3Add flour in small portions.

4Mix well.

5Drop by spoonfuls on cookie sheet.

6Bake at 375° for 20 minutes or until very light brown.

7If cooked too long, they will get hard. Otherwise, cookies are light and fluffy.
