- 1 3/4 cups all-purpose flour
- 2/3 cup cornmeal
- 2 tablespoons sugar
- 1 tablespoon baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 cup cold Land O Lakes Butter
- 1 cup buttermilk*
Directions

1Heat oven to 450F.

2Combine flour, cornmeal, sugar, baking powder and salt in bowl; cut in butter with pastry blender or fork until mixture resembles coarse crumbs.

3Add buttermilk; stir until mixture is just combined.

4(If batter is too thin, stir in 1 to 2 tablespoons flour.)

5Drop by 1/4 cupfuls, 1 inch apart, onto greased baking sheet.

6Bake 12-14 minutes or until golden brown.
