- 40 sprays drumstick leaves
- 4 tbsp. coconut gratings
- 1 sprig curry leaves
- 4 red chilies
- 1 tbsp. urad dal
- 1 dash turmeric
- 3 tsp. oil
- Salt, to taste
Directions

1Remove the drumstick leaves from the stalk, wash and set aside.

2Grind coconut and red chilies to a smooth paste.

3Wash the grinding stone with a cup of water.

4Add it to the ground masala.

5In three tsp.

6oil, fry the curry leaves and urad dal.

7When the curry leaves become brittle and the urad dal gets browned, add the drumstick leaves and fry for a minute.

8Add the ground liquid masala, then pour in a cup of water, a pinch of turmeric and salt to taste.

9Cover the pan and let it cook on a slow fire for 15 minutes, by which time all the water would have evaporated and the side dish would be ready.

10Stir and serve.
