- 1 chicken fryer, cut up or pheasant
- oil for frying
- 1 c. flour
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1/2 tsp. lemon pepper
- 1 tsp. garlic salt
- 1/4 tsp. pepper
- 1 onion, chopped
- 1 c. sliced mushrooms
- 2 cans beer
Directions

1Mix flour with spices, roll chicken in seasoned flour and brown chicken in hot oil.

2Add onions and mushrooms.

3Cover with 2 cans beer, lower heat and simmer for 1/2 hour to 45 minutes, until chicken is tender.

4Remove chicken.

5Thicken liquid with 1 to 2 tablespoons cornstarch in 1/2 cup water.

6(Add more water, if needed, during cooking chicken.)

7Serve over rice or with mashed potatoes.
