Ingredients
- 2-1/4 lb. duck (chicken, beef
- tongue may be used instead)
- 4 lg. onions, finely sliced
- 2 cloves garlic, finely sliced
- 4 green chilies
- 1 piece ginger, finely sliced
- 2 tbsp. bottled East Indian masala
- Vinegar, sugar and salt, to taste
Directions

1Cut and fry duck until golden.

2Set aside.

3Fry onions until golden.

4Add chilies, ginger and garlic and fry well.

5Add fried duck and hot water and cook until duck is tender.

6Add bottled masala and let it come to a boil.

7Add vinegar, salt and sugar to taste.

8Simmer for five minutes.

9Sprinkle with two tsp.

10garam masala (cinnamon, cardamom, clove powder) and simmer for a couple of minutes until the ghee comes to the top.
