  • 1 large can crushed pineapple, drained
  • 1 can cherry pie filling
  • 1 box cake mix (yellow or white), sifted
  • 1 c. pecans, chopped
  • 2 sticks butter or margarine (firm, not melted)

Directions

    Layer pie filling and pineapple in ungreased cake pan (9 x 13 x 2-inch) or tube pan.

    Sprinkle cake mixture over this, next a layer of nuts.

    Slice butter and put on nuts.

    Do not stir or mix. Bake at 325° to 350° for 60 to 70 minutes.
