"Dump-Together" Soup

  • stew meat
  • water
  • 2 large cans whole tomatoes
  • 2 large onions, chopped
  • 1 medium size can V-8
  • 1 c. celery
  • 1 bay leaf
  • dash of garlic salt
  • vegetables (your choice)
  • salt and pepper to taste

Directions

    Brown meat in a 4 to 6-quart pan.

    Add as much water as you desire.

    Add remaining ingredients, except for vegetables.

    One hour before serving, add vegetables.

    May be cooked all day or for 1 1/2 hours.

    Delicious with hot corn bread.
