  • 1 1/2 c. flour
  • 1 egg, beaten
  • 3 Tbsp. shortening
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • chicken broth
  • 1 hard-cooked egg, chopped
  • 5 Tbsp. water
  • pepper

Directions

    Combine flour, egg, shortening, salt and water; mix well to form soft dough.

    Roll out paper thin; let dry for 20 minutes. Cut in small strips; drop in boiling broth.

    Cook 15 minutes.
