Ingredients

  • 2 c. melted butter
  • 2 c. brown sugar
  • 2 c. white sugar
  • 4 eggs
  • 2 tsp. vanilla
  • 4 c. flour
  • 2 tsp. baking soda
  • 2 tsp. baking powder
  • 2 c. oatmeal
  • 1 (3 1/2 oz.) pkg. coconut
  • 1 1/2 c. raisins
  • 2 c. cornflakes

Directions

    Mix butter and sugars.

    Beat in eggs and vanilla.

    Sift flour, soda and baking powder and stir in.

    In the following order, stir in oatmeal, coconut, raisins and cornflakes.

    Drop by teaspoons onto greased cookie sheet.

    Bake at 350° for about 12 minutes or until golden brown.

    Makes about nine dozen.

    Dunk in milk or coffee and enjoy.
