Dutch Apple Bread

- 1/2 c. margarine
- 1 c. sugar
- 2 eggs
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 2 c. flour
- 1 tsp. soda
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1/3 c. sour milk
- 1 c. apples, peeled and chopped
- 1/3 c. chopped walnuts
Directions

1Preheat oven to 350°.

2Cream together the margarine and the sugar.

3Add and beat well the eggs and vanilla.

4Combine separately the flour, soda and salt.

5Add dry ingredients alternately with the sour milk.

6Fold in the apples and walnuts. Bake in a greased and floured 9 x 5-inch loaf pan or several smaller loaf pans for 55 minutes or until loaf tests done.

7Serve thin slices with whipped cream cheese.
