  • 3 lb. cabbage, shredded
  • 1 green pepper, chopped
  • 1 medium onion, chopped
  • 1 c. sugar
  • 1 c. oil
  • 1 c. vinegar
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1 tsp. celery seed
  • 1 tsp. dry mustard

Directions

    Combine a 3-pound head cabbage, one chopped green pepper and one chopped medium onion.

    Cover with 1 cup sugar.

    With knife, poke holes through cabbage.

    Bring cooking oil, vinegar, salt, celery seed and dry mustard to a boil.

    Pour over cabbage and stir.
