Ingredients
- 1 large bunch celery, chopped (leaves and all)
- 1 bunch parsley leaves (no stems), chopped finely
- 4 to 5 onions, chopped
- 28 oz. can whole tomatoes, broken apart
- 3/4 lb. hamburg
- 1/4 lb. ground pork
- 1 slice fresh bread, crumbled
- 1 egg, beaten
- parsley, salt and pepper to taste
Directions

1Put first 4 ingredients into large pot. Add 1 can water and boil mixture.

2Mix hamburg, pork, bread, egg, salt, pepper and parsley and form into small meatballs.

3When pot is boiling, add meatballs and gently fold them in.

4Cook slowly about 4 hours; add salt and pepper if needed.

5Serves 4 to 6 people.

6Freezes well.
