  • 3/4 c. water
  • 2 pkg. dry yeast
  • 2/3 c. firmly packed brown sugar
  • 1/2 c. quick cooking oats
  • 2 tsp. salt
  • 1 c. whole wheat flour
  • 1 c. rye flour
  • 3 to 3 1/2 c. all-purpose flour
  • evaporated milk
  • 1/4 c. chopped, unsalted sunflower seeds (optional)

    Put in a large bowl. Dissolve yeast in warm mixture. Add brown sugar, oats, salt,
