- 1 c. flaked coconut
- 1 c. chopped pecans
- 1 pkg. German or Swiss chocolate cake mix
- 1 stick butter
- 1 pkg. cream cheese
- 1 lb. powdered sugar
- 1 tsp. vanilla
Directions

1Preheat oven to 350°.

2Spread coconut on bottom of well-greased 15 x 11 x 2-inch baking pan.

3Spread pecans over coconut.

4Prepare cake mix as directed on package and pour over coconut and pecans.

5Mix softened cream cheese, softened butter and sugar.

6Drop spoonfuls into the batter (don't stir).

7Bake at 350° for 45 to 60 minutes or check for doneness with toothpick.
