Ingredients

  • 1 cup coconut
  • 1 cup pecans, chopped
  • 1 box Betty Crocker German chocolate cake mix
  • 1 pkg. (8 oz.) cream cheese
  • 1 lb. powdered sugar
  • 1/2 cup margarine, softened

Directions

    Spread coconut and pecans on the bottom of a 9x13-inch pan.

    Mix cake mix as directed on the box.

    Spread batter over pecans and coconut.

    Mix together cream cheese, powdered sugar and margarine.

    Drop from a spoon in dollops onto the cake batter.

    DO NOT STIR.

    Bake at 350F for 50-60 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.

    Top of cake will be cracked.
