- 2 cakes Household yeast
- 15 eggs
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1/2 c. oil
- 1 bottle anise
- 1 pt. warm milk
- 1 tbsp. vanilla
- 2 1/2 c. sugar
Directions

1Beat eggs, add sugar slowly.

2Add vanilla and anise.

3In large pan, put flour, salt.

4Add liquid ingredients.

5Add oil.

6Knead 20 mins.

7If sticky, add oil to hands.

8Let rise 2 1/2 -3 hours. Punch down.

9Let rise again 1 1/2 hours. shape loaves.

10Let rise 1 more hour.

11Brush with beaten egg mixed with sugar.

12Bake 325° for 30 mins.
