- 4 1/2 c. sugar
- 1 1/2 c. white Karo
- 1 1/2 tsp. vanilla
- 1 1/2 c. water
- 2 unbeaten egg whites
- 1 large Hershey candy bar (plain)
Directions

1Cook sugar, water and Karo until it reaches 240° on candy thermometer.

2Take out 1 cup of syrup from pan and add 2 beaten egg whites.

3Beat until stiff.

4Continue cooking pan of syrup until it reaches 265°.

5Pour slowly into mixture.

6Beat until it forms a peak.

7Add 1 1/2 teaspoons vanilla.

8You can add cherries, nuts and coconut to mixture or leave plain.

9Butter hands and work mixture like dough; shape into eggs.

10Cool in refrigerator.

11Melt 1 large Hershey plain candy bar and coat eggs in chocolate.
