- 4 slices bacon, diced
- 1 large onion, chopped
- 1/3 to 1/2 c. ketchup
- 2 Tbsp. brown sugar
- 2 Tbsp. vinegar
- 2 (16 oz.) cans baked beans
- pepper to taste
Directions

1Fry bacon until brown; drain excess fat.

2Fry onion with the bacon until it's clear.

3Add remaining ingredients and simmer for 20 minutes or until it thickens.

4This recipe can be tripled and simmered overnight in crock-pot.

5It makes a nice dish to take to parties or picnics.
