Easy Barbecue Chicken

Ingredients
- 1 c. catsup
- 1/2 c. diced onion
- 2 Tbsp. vinegar
- 1 Tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
- 1 tsp. dry mustard
- 3/4 c. firmly packed brown sugar
- 1 c. water
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1/2 tsp. black pepper
- 1 chicken, cut up or chicken pieces (preferably skin off)
Directions

1Place all ingredients in large stainless or porcelain covered skillet in order given.

2Do not use an iron skillet.

3Cover and cook over medium heat, turning occasionally.

4Cook 40 minutes, until chicken is done.

5Remove chicken to serving plate.

6Keep warm.

7Cook remaining sauce until thick and bubbly.

8Do not burn. Pour over chicken to serve, or use for dipping.

9May also fix sauce to use for basting chicken cooked on the grill.
