  • 2 lb. stew meat, cut in 1 inch cubes
  • 2 to 3 onions, chopped
  • 3 stalks celery, cut in 1 inch pieces
  • 4 carrots, cut in 1 inch pieces
  • 1 (12 oz.) can tomato juice or V-8 juice
  • 1/4 c. Minute tapioca
  • 1 Tbsp. salt
  • 1 Tbsp. sugar
  • 1/2 tsp. basil
  • 4 potatoes, cubed
