  • 2 lb. stew meat
  • 2 c. sliced carrots
  • 2 c. chopped celery
  • 2 c. chopped onions
  • 2 c. cubed potatoes
  • 1/4 tsp. thyme
  • 1/4 tsp. marjoram
  • 2 tsp. salt
  • 1/4 tsp. pepper
  • 2 Tbsp. tapioca
  • 1 bay leaf
  • garlic salt to taste
  • 2 to 3 c. tomato juice or beef broth
