- 2 lb. beef, cubed and floured
- 2 Tbsp. oil
- 1 (10 1/2 oz.) can condensed onion soup
- 1 c. water
- 1/2 c. sherry
- salt and pepper to taste
- 1 (9 or 10 oz.) pkg. frozen peas and carrots
Directions

1Dredge meat with flour.

2Heat oil in heavy skillet or Dutch oven; brown meat on all sides.

3Add soup, water, sherry, salt and pepper; cover and simmer until meat is tender.

4Stir frequently. If the gravy becomes too thick, add a small amount of water as necessary.

5Shortly before serving, add cooked peas and carrots. Other vegetables may be used as desired.
