Ingredients
- 2 Tbsp. oil
- 1 lb. trimmed boneless beef chuck, cut into thin strips
- 1 large onion, coarsely chopped
- 2 Tbsp. flour
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1/4 tsp. pepper
- 1 (14 1/2 oz.) can stewed tomatoes
- 1 (4 oz.) jar sliced mushrooms, drained
- 1 c. beef broth
- 1 c. thawed, frozen, sliced carrots
- 1/2 tsp. garlic powder
- 2 c. Minute rice, uncooked
Directions

1Heat oil in large skillet.

2Add meat and onions; cook and stir until meat is browned.

3Stir in flour, salt and pepper.

4Stir in tomatoes, mushrooms, broth, carrots and garlic powder.

5Bring to boil.

6Reduce heat to low; cover and simmer 10 minutes.
