Easy Beef Stroganoff

- 1 lb. stew beef
- 3 Tbsp. margarine
- 1/2 lb. sliced fresh mushrooms
- 1/2 c. chopped onion
- 1 c. water
- 1/2 c. A.1. steak sauce
- 1/2 c. sour cream
- hot cooked noodles or confetti noodles
Directions

1In skillet, brown beef in 2 tablespoons butter or margarine. Transfer meat to plate.

2In same skillet, add remaining 1 tablespoon butter and cook mushrooms and onion until tender. Return meat to skillet; add water and steak sauce.

3Heat to a boil.

4Reduce heat to low; simmer 50 to 60 minutes.

5Stir in sour cream.

6Serve over noodles (4 servings).
