  • 5 Tbsp. margarine
  • 1 1/2 c. rice, uncooked
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 4 c. water and 4 bouillon cubes or 4 c. beef bouillon
  • 1/2 tsp. salt

Directions

    Melt margarine in a heavy skillet.

    Add rice and stir over medium heat until brown. Slowly add bouillon and salt.

    Cover and cook slowly 25 minutes until rice is tender, adding water if needed.
