Ingredients

  • 6 large eggs, beaten
  • 2 cups milk
  • 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 (16 oz) package mild bulk sausage; cooked, drained and crumbled
  • 6 slices white bread, cubed
  • 1/3 cup chopped green pepper - and/or onions (both optional)
  • 1 tsp. dry mustard
  • 1 tsp. salt

Directions

    Mix together eggs, milk, salt, mustard.

    Fold in sausage, cheese, bread; add onion, pepper, if desired.

    Pour mixture into 9x13 inch casserole.

    Refrigerate over night (can freeze). Remove from fridg or thaw 30 minutes before baking.

    Bake at 350° for 45 minutes or until set.
