- 1 onion small, peeled and finely diced
- 2/3 pound ground beef
- 1 egg
- 1 pinch paprika
- 2 ounces low fat cream cheese
- 1/2 green bell pepper each red and, seeded and finely diced
- 2 teaspoons oil
- 4 seeded bread rolls cut in half
- 4 teaspoons mayonnaise
- 4 lettuce leaves
- 2 medium tomatoes sliced
- 1/2 bunch chives chopped thinly
Directions

1Mix the onion, ground beef, egg, paprika, cream cheese and 2/3 of the diced peppers. Season to taste and form the mixture into 4 flat patties. Heat the oil in a nonstick pan and fry the patties over a medium heat for about 12 minutes, turning as necessary. Remove them from the pan and let them cool slightly.

2Spread the lower half of the bread rolls with mayonnaise, followed by layers of lettuce, and tomatoes and a patty. Sprinkle with paprika and chives and top with the upper half of the bun.
