- 4 c. canned fruit (peaches, plums, apricots, etc.)
- 1/2 c. butter or margarine
- 1 c. sugar
- 1 c. flour
- 3 tsp. baking powder
- 1 c. milk
Directions

1Bring fruit to boil in a saucepan; set aside to cool slightly.

2Melt butter or margarine in the bottom of a 9 x 13 inch pan.

3Add the sugar, flour, baking powder and milk and mix together thoroughly.

4Pour slightly cooled fruit over the batter; do not stir.

5Bake at 375° for 30-40 minutes, or until cake tests done.
