  • 1 pkg. devil's food cake mix
  • 4 eggs
  • 1 stick butter
  • 1 (6 oz.) pkg. chocolate chips
  • 1 c. chopped nuts (I prefer pecans)
  • 1 (16 oz.) box powdered sugar
  • 1 (8 oz.) pkg. softened cream cheese

Directions

  1. 1
    Mix dry cake mix, 1 egg and butter and press into a buttered 13 x 9 x 2-inch baking pan. Top with chocolate chips and nuts. Mix powdered sugar, remaining 3 eggs and cream cheese. Pour over cake mix base. Bake at 350° until bubbly and golden, about 30 minutes.
