- 1/2 c. butter
- 1 3/4 to 2 c. sifted confectioners sugar
- 1 c. brown sugar, packed
- 1/4 c. milk
Directions

1Melt butter in saucepan.

2Add brown sugar.

3Boil over low heat 2 minutes, stirring constantly.

4Stir in milk.

5Bring to a boil, stirring constantly. Cool to lukewarm.

6Gradually add confectioners sugar.

7Beat until thick enough to spread.

8If icing becomes too stiff, add a little hot water.
