- 1 c. butter or margarine
- 1 lb. brown sugar
- dash of salt
- 1 c. light corn syrup
- 1 (15 oz.) can Eagle Brand milk
- 1 tsp. vanilla
Directions

1Melt the butter or margarine in a heavy 3-quart pan.

2Add brown sugar and salt, stirring until thoroughly blended.

3Blend in corn syrup.

4Gradually add condensed milk, stirring constantly. Cook and stir over medium heat until the candy reaches firm ball stage (245°).

5Remove from heat, stir in vanilla and pour into buttered baking dish.

6Cool; cut into small squares and wrap.
