- 2 c. light Karo
- 2 c. sugar
- 2 c. evaporated milk
- 1 stick butter
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- pinch of salt
- 1/4 c. pecans
Directions

1Mix sugar and Karo in a large, heavy bottom pan.

2Bring to a slow boil.

3Turn up heat and begin adding milk in a thin stream so that the mixture never stops boiling.

4Cook at 242° for about 30 minutes.

5Add vanilla and pecans.

6Pour into 9-inch buttered pan.
