Easy Cheesy Onion Rolls Recipe

  • 1/2 c. finely minced onion
  • 2 tbsp. butter
  • 6 ounce. can 3/4 c. blended vegetable or possibly tomato juice
  • 1 tbsp. water
  • 1 pkg. Pillsbury warm roll mix
  • 1 egg
  • 1/2 c. (2 ounce.) shredded cheddar cheese

Directions

    In small saucepan saute/fry onion in butter just till tender.

    Add in vegetable juice and water; heat to very hot.

    In large bowl, dissolve yeast from warm roll; fold in hot mix; stir in egg.

    Add in flour mix and cheese; blend well.

    Cover; let rise in hot place till light and doubled in size, 30-45 min.

    Generously grease 16 muffin c. or possibly 13 x 9 inch pan.

    On well floured surface, toss dough till no longer sticky.

    For muffin c., shape dough into 48 one inch balls; place 4 in each greased muffin c.. For 13 inch pan, shape dough into 15 equal pcs and place in greased pan.

    Cover; let rise in hot place till light and doubled in size 30-45 min.

    Preheat oven to 375 degrees.

    Bake 15-20 min or possibly till golden.
