Ingredients
- 1/2 teaspoon olive oil
- 1 large onion, chopped
- 2 cans red kidney beans, drained
- 1 can chopped tomato
- 1/2 cup tomato paste
- 1/4 - 1/2 cup water (optional)
- 1 tablespoon golden syrup
- 1/2 teaspoon oregano
- 1 pinch paprika
- salt and pepper
- chili pepper
Directions

1Heat oil in pan.

2Add onion and cook on medium heat until softened.

3Add the kidney beans and tomatoes, then stir in the rest of the ingredients.

4Bring to a slight boil.

5Simmer for approx 20 minutes (longer if you like), stirring occasionally.

6Serve with rice.
