Easy Chocolate Cake

- 2 sticks margarine
- 1 c. water
- 4 Tbsp. cocoa
- 2 c. plain flour
- 2 c. sugar
- 1 tsp. baking soda
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 2 eggs, beaten
- 1/2 c. buttermilk
- 1 tsp. vanilla
Directions

1Grease and flour a 9 x 13-inch pan.

2In a large saucepan, bring to a boil the margarine, water and cocoa.

3Sift together the dry ingredients and stir into boiling mixture (do not beat).

4In a small bowl, beat eggs, buttermilk and vanilla together.

5Stir into hot mixture.

6Pour into pan.

7Bake only 20 minutes in a preheated 400° oven.

8Frost in the pan with Easy Chocolate Icing while cake is still hot.

9When cooled completely, cover tightly.
