  • 1/2 c. butter
  • 4 c. white sugar
  • 1 large (12 oz.) can milk (evaporated)
  • 4 (1 oz. each) sq. chocolate (unsweetened)
  • 1 1/2 c. nuts (assorted, optional)
  • 7 oz. jar marshmallow cream

Directions

    In a heavy pot lined with butter, mix together the butter, milk, chocolate and nuts.

    Cook until mixture reaches 240°, stirring constantly, then pour mixture into buttered lined bowl. Stir in marshmallow cream.

    (Coconut de la quere, optional.)

    Pour into butter lined flat pan (9 x 13-inch).

    Let set for 4 minutes.
