  • 1 c. water
  • 1/2 c. Crisco or Crisco oil
  • 3 1/2 Tbsp. cocoa
  • 2 c. flour
  • 2 c. sugar
  • 1/2 c. buttermilk
  • 1 tsp. soda
  • 2 whole eggs
  • 1 tsp. vanilla

Directions

    Bring to boil oleo, water, Crisco and cocoa.

    Add to mixture of flour and sugar.
  3. 3
    Add remaining ingredients.

    Put in greased sheet pan.
  5. 5
    Bake for 20 to 30 minutes at 400°.
